HURTING YOUR HEART

In fact, recent medical research has found new evidence linking heart disease and anger. According to an Associated Press release, Dr. Redford B. Williams Jr. and some of his colleagues did a personality study of one hundred and eighteen students in law school. They were graded on their hostility. Twenty-five years later, twenty percent of those who had scored highest as being angry persons had died, compared with only five percent of those who had registered lowest (Quoted by Paul Van Gorder in, 365 Series Together with God: Psalms, April 14).
The Bible provides a timeless truth that we should not let the sun go down while we are still angry (Ephesians 4:26).
