IMPORTANT INFORMATION

I am facilitating two important courses this fall (August) 2016 at LUO (Liberty Baptist School of Divinity). The courses are Contemporary Evangelism and Strategic Prayer and Spiritual Warfare. In Contemporary Evangelism (EVAN 525) we are going to deal with some textbooks and discussions that would help to revitalize churches that are dying and others that are plateaued. The principles that these sources provide will also rekindle your passion for evangelism that you can also use in your local churches. It is sad that some churches are dying spiritually and numerically but that should not be the case.
Strategic Prayer and Spiritual Warfare course (EVAN 670) would open your eyes and mind to the importance of prayer and the reality of spiritual warfare. The textbooks employed in this course would be indispensable to your walk with Christ and equipment to your congregation to ensure both numerical and spiritual growth in the Body of Christ.
This is a master’s level course for those who are already in the Gospel ministry and for lay leaders who work alongside your pastors. I hope to find your name this fall semester. Come and let's study and explore together.
Be blessed.

GETTING OUR HANDS DIRTY

Getting our hands dirty is what the Christian life is all about. If our Lord Jesus could leave the portals of glory in heaven, the praise of the angels, and the presence of the Father to come down on earth to die on the cross to save us, who are we to refuse to get our hands dirty? The Christian life which involves evangelism is a messy and dirty work. Therefore, if one does not want to get his/her hands dirty then one cannot be a follower of Christ. Our world today is in trouble because many Christians do not want to get their hands dirty. That is sad. Many churches are also dying because the members do not want to get their hands dirty.
John 13 where Jesus washed the feet of the disciples is a dramatic teaching of service and humility. The washing of the feet in Jesus day was the work of the lower house servant. Therefore, it is not beneath our nobility to serve others or humble ourselves. Humility is a great quality in the kingdom of God. It is the antithesis of the American way of life where everyone wants to be the number one in life.
