HEALTHCARE WORKERS AT KOTOKA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (GHANA)

 

It has come to my attention that the Health Care Workers at the Kotoka International Airport are intentionally delaying visitors to Ghana at the airport by reading false coronavirus tests, The alleged visitors and nationals who tested positive were asked to quarantine for 14 days. The strange thing about this deception and delays is that many of the travelers have taken the vaccines already in the United States and Europe. How is it possible for those who have been immunized against COVID-19 continue to test positive? This is medically inconsistent. What these medical officials who give false test readings don't realize is that it paints a bad and a negative picture of Ghana to would-be travelers and investors to the country from Europe and the United States.

What do the medical team stand to gain by offering false COVID-19 test readings at the arrivals at the airport? The insensitive Health Care Workers have to realize that some of the travelers to the country have limited leave of absence at the places of work in Europe and the United States. An intentional delay by this health care workers can cost the livelihood of some of these travelers to Ghana. Therefore, I am writing to the government of Ghana to address this situation before it gets out of hand. Immediate attention to redress the situation is urgently needed.

NB: I have been informed that due to the accelerated rate at which the Omicron Variant is spreading, the Health Workers have begun to extort money from travelers especially, non-citizens of Ghana. The person in change of the Healthcare workers must muster courage and stop the practice in its trail.

LAW AND GRACE

          Law and Grace confuse many Christians even today. The reason is that many pastors or preachers have not made the distinction clear to Christians. In the Bible, the first five books are called the Mosaic Law, Pentateuch, or the Torah. By definition the Law means, “Instructions.” Then we have the ceremonial laws which include dietary laws etc. Then we have the Apodictic Law. Apodictic expresses absoluteness. In other words, the Ten Commandments are apodictic laws that the Hebrew people were to observe. The truth is that God did not give the Laws as a means of salvation. Paul describes this very well in the book of Galatians where he says that the law was given to serve as a school master leading us to Christ (Gal. 3:23-25). When we come to Christ we are not under the supervision of the law but we are justified by faith. Therefore, we no longer live under the law, but we live by grace through faith in Christ. Christians are still bound by the moral law (including the Ten Commandments).

What do you think are some of the causes that Christians today pray with timidity instead of boldness?

          Why do you think that some Christians resist the command or the imperative, and exhortation to pray with boldness?

          While nobody doubts the boldness of Gideon, his test of the fleece was an elementary kind of faith. God has already proved Himself through the deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt. Therefore, it was not necessary for Gideon to put God to the test. When God chose Joshua to lead the Hebrew people after the departure of Moses, Joshua did not tell God to prove Himself. He was an eyewitness of what God had done for the people. That is true faith. That is what we need to do today when God calls us to act on His behalf.

. Many contemporary Christians think that God has changed in His Omnipotence and sovereignty. I think many American Christians have bought into secular humanism in such a way that they have ignored the supernatural aspect of God. Some too do not take the Word of God (Scriptures) literally. Therefore, they worship and serve God with a weak faith.

You have identified the falsity of the prosperity and good health gospel preachers who have dominated the waves with their false theology of "name it and claim it." Such "evangelists" make God look like a genie or a magician who supplies all our wants at our beckon. They have confused the faith of the naive and immature believers.
