I
have discovered with amazement that Best Buy has put a Debt Protection on my
account without my consent. I have been contending with them but it seems we
have not reached any satisfactory agreement. Therefore, I would like to warn my
friends who buy electronic gadgets such as computers and televisions from Best
Buy to be on the lookout for such nefarious and clandestine practices. The
issue is not over but please, those of you who shop there, be on the alert for
such practices on the part of Best Buy. The reason I did not detect this on
time was that I was paying my bill online. However, when I changed it and
requested paper bill that was when I detected this unauthorized practice.
Therefore, I am parting company with Best Buy beginning today. To be forewarned
is to be forearmed.
